Look how cozy my bed looks right now! The MacAusland blanket arrived early last week and it's super soft and cozy. Our new cushion is from the lovely ladies at Floating Gold Iceberg and the bed was built by this guy (sigh). Happy Holidays!

Craft fairs are complete for another season and now, after enjoying a couple of lazy days, I'm ready to clean up the homestead and decorate for Christmas.

Hi. I'm sorry for the lack of blog but I'm preparing for another show this weekend. Pear Tree Market begins tomorrow afternoon. The lovely ladies at Floating Gold Iceberg are hosting the event and I can't wait to spend a few days with some very talented designer/makers.

I purchased one of our first Christmas gifts today and can't wait for it's arrival! I discovered the MacAusland blanket in the A/W Toast catalogue. I'm happy for the find but, as a maritimer, sad I didn't already know of this Prince Edward Island based woollen mill. I bought the light grey version above.

I've been busy this week pairing up fabrics and assembling needle books. Now I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow and preparing the homestead for trick-or-treater's.

After a few days of eating and lounging I decided to get to work this afternoon. I got my second needle book prototype finished. This one is an inch taller than the first and I'm trying a button closure instead of the ribbons.

This is a prototype for the needle cases I plan on making this autumn/winter. I have some changes to make but I'm pleased with this first effort.

I'm starting to prepare for an upcoming craft show. I have lots of time but the last minute always comes fast. I'll share pictures as I get more work completed.
