Saturday, March 28

Spring has arrived along with our friend's dear baby Ava. I'm thrilled to have this new little friend and can't wait to spend more time with her.
Too many projects to be spending time online but I've been enjoying Julia Pott's animation and blog

Saturday, March 14

I'm thinking about trench coats in our currently damp late winter weather.

Friday, March 13

I'm happy today. The weather has warmed a bit and school has closed for March break. I spent the early evening in the garden and loved working outside until 7pm again! In the coming week I plan on spending time in the backyard and at the drawing/printing/sewing table. I'm making a second Built by Wendy shirt and have lots to do for an upcoming craft fair.
New to me, french designer Anne Willi (via Milk).

I love the Spring collection from jackson, johnston & roe. Simple designs and presentation that make me desire some long necklaces and a tan. Taking a trip off the island tomorrow, can't wait for the adventure to begin. Happy weekend!

Tuesday, March 3

A sampling of stripes tonight. I've noticed through the years that I gravitate to the same things over and over again so I now stock up when said things are in style. More stripes I admire, here, here and the always classic here.

Sunday, March 1

Hello March! My first shirt is almost complete. The sleeves aren't hemmed and other fiddling needs to happen but I'm pleased with this first effort. I can't believe it's taken this long for me to try sewing! Now, after a busy day gardening and crafting I'm ready to relax with a movie.
