I found a sunny spot this morning to eat my breakfast and take some photographs. The grey winter days we've been experiencing keep my camera in it's case so this moment felt like a treat, wilting tulips and all.

Look how cozy my bed looks right now! The MacAusland blanket arrived early last week and it's super soft and cozy. Our new cushion is from the lovely ladies at Floating Gold Iceberg and the bed was built by this guy (sigh). Happy Holidays!

Craft fairs are complete for another season and now, after enjoying a couple of lazy days, I'm ready to clean up the homestead and decorate for Christmas.

Hi. I'm sorry for the lack of blog but I'm preparing for another show this weekend. Pear Tree Market begins tomorrow afternoon. The lovely ladies at Floating Gold Iceberg are hosting the event and I can't wait to spend a few days with some very talented designer/makers.

I purchased one of our first Christmas gifts today and can't wait for it's arrival! I discovered the MacAusland blanket in the A/W Toast catalogue. I'm happy for the find but, as a maritimer, sad I didn't already know of this Prince Edward Island based woollen mill. I bought the light grey version above.
