I'm running to the library with some overdue books today, oops. I wanted to share a few images from Ursula Buchan's 'Garden People',  the photographs of Valerie Finnis. A record of the British gardening scene from the 1950's-70's with beautiful photos of gardens and fashion.

Exploring the selby this evening. I loved this whole shoot, amazing collections.  

My friend Alison stopped in for tea last week and I snapped this picture of her. Oh how I envy those who can braid their own hair. I am limited to buns and ponytails but in time this may change. Moving in the direction of making dinner right now and feeling ready for a night in with a movie. Good night.

I spent the day printing hankies and taking pictures. More sunny days on their way and I'm happy to see some spinach and lettuce seedlings sprouting up in the garden. Some late weekend inspiration here and here.
